The AVADA Group has a strongly built network of companies providing traffic management and additional services to civil infrastructure and maintenance businesses across Australia and New Zealand, with future plans for further expansion.
The CEO is responsible for the day-to-day management and performance of AVADA Traffic, working under the strategic guidance of the Managing Director, AVADA Group.
The CEO will lead members of the Executive Leadership Team across Finance & Governance, People & Culture, Fleet & Procurement, Safety and Technology to execute the company’s strategic vision and ensure that business activities are aligned with financial, operational and bus iness development goals.
The CEO will focus on delivering financial and operational excellence, overseeing project execution, and ensuring that the company remains competitive and efficient in delivering its services across Australia and New Zealand. The CEO will work closely with the Managing Director to ensure that all operational functions of the company are aligned with its growth and business development strategies.
The successful candidate will bring a track record of transformational leadership in transport, infrastructure or similar industries, demonstrating the ability to navigate regulatory landscapes, optimise commercial operations, inspire, motivate and align a diverse employee group to fully realise the company’s growth potential.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring that projects and services are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Drive operational efficiency across all business functions.

Collaborate closely with the MD to implement the company’s strategic vision and ensure alignment between operations and business development goals.
Convert the MD’s strategic direction into actionable, operational plans.

Monitor and manage the company’s performance metrics to ensure operational and financial targets are met.
Regularly report operational progress to the MD and provide insights into potential improvements.

Oversee operational budgets, financial planning and cost control.
Ensure that business units meet their financial targets and contribute to the company’s overall profitability and growth.

Ensure that all operations are compliant with relevant regulatory, legal, and industry standards.
Lead efforts to mitigate operational risks and ensure the company maintains a robust risk management framework.

Champion process improvements and innovation across the business.
Collaborate with MD to introduce new process, systems and methodologies that enhance service delivery and drive operational performance.

Lead and develop the leadership team, fostering a culture of transparency, performance, accountability, alignment to values and continuous improvement.
Mentor and support key leaders to ensure the company maintains high standards in service delivery and operational execution.

Build strong relationships with operational stakeholders, including financiers, investors, suppliers, business advisors, partners and regulators.
Ensure high levels of stakeholder satisfaction and operational delivery that support long-term partnerships and business growth.
